The Honorable Elder Glenn E. Moyer

A Record of a Victorious Life....

Pastor Glenn Edward Moyer was born in Norfolk, West Virginia on April 14, 1950 to Bishop Alonzo W. Moyer Sr. and Mother Doretha Moyer who both preceded him in death. Glenn was the eldest of six children.

Pastor Glenn received his early foundation in Christ in the living room of his parent's home where the current Apostolic Little Rock Church was established. The importance of having a relationship with Jesus Christ was instilled in him. Pastor Glenn received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age, and he was baptized in Jesus Name at Apostolic Little Rock Church under the pastorate of his father and church founder, Bishop Alonzo Moyer Sr.

He received his formal education in the Chicago Public School System attending Beale Elementary school and later graduated from Neal F. Simeon Vocational High School. Pastor Glenn was in a four-year program with Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Trades Apprenticeship. He retired after 30 years with Local 17 as a Senior Mechanic Insulator.

Pastor Glenn fell in love and married his childhood sweetheart, Alfreda Moore. They were united in holy matrimony on April 18, 1970 and to this union were born four children. Pastor Glenn was married for 48 years to his lifetime soulmate, First Lady Alfreda Moyer.

Pastor Glenn faithfully labored at Apostolic Little Rock Church since its inceptions. He responded to the call of the Lord on his life at an early age, as he worked in dedication and excellence in various capacities of the church. He worked as President of the Deacon Board, Superintendent of Sunday School, President of the Brotherhood, Senior Deacon in 1984, by the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC). Pastor Glenn was ordained a Minister in 1985. In 1995 he was ordained an Elder in good standing by the assistant pastors of Apostolic Little Rock Church.

When the Lord called Bishop Alonzo W. Moyer Sr. home, in October 2003, Elder Glenn E. Moyer was commissioned by God to be Pastor of the Apostolic Little Rock Church family.

Under his leadership, God has done great and mighty works, lives have been changed, and souls were reclaimed into God's Kingdom. God gifted Pastor Glenn to teach and preach His unadulterated Word for this generation in this exciting season. Pastor Glenn had a shepherd's heart with a genuine love and concern for the flock that God placed in his care.

On Saturday, January 27, 2018, Pastor Glenn made his sweet heavenly transition and slipped away from his loved ones as he rested.

Pastor Glenn was preceded in death and awaits the trumpet of God and the voice of the archangel with his parents, Alonzo and Doretha Moyer and his daughter, Angela.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Alfeda Moyer; his three children, Glenn E. Moyer (Tabitha), Melanie D. Just (Gary), and Katrina L. Little; four grandchildren, Shauntaya Robinson (Ray), Christian A. Moyer (Allie), Brianna L. Brock, and Hannah Moyer; one great-grandchild, Cairie Moyer; three bothers, Alonzo W. Moyer, Jr. (Dakota), Deacon Kenneth E. Moyer (Fonda), and Milford W. Moyer (Cristina); two sisters, Janice R. Blackwell (Emanuel), and Rhonda E.
